Our Approach
Kenshin Note (the "App") is an iOS app designed privacy-first. Our principle is simple: your health data never leaves your iPhone.
The developer and provider of the App (the "Developer") operates no external servers and never collects, stores, views, or shares your personal information or health data.
Information We Do NOT Collect
The App does none of the following:
- Transmit or collect your health data or personal information
- Require an account (no email address, name, or phone number is ever requested)
- Use analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or trackers
- Provide or sell data to third parties
How Your Health Data Is Handled
All health checkup data you enter or scan into the App, such as blood pressure, blood test values, height and weight, cholesterol, and HbA1c, is stored only on your iPhone.
- All processing, including OCR scanning, happens on-device.
- Scanned document images are never uploaded anywhere.
- The Developer has no means of accessing your health data.
Camera and Photo Library Access
If you use the scanning feature, the App requests permission to access your camera or photo library. This permission is used solely to read your checkup documents on-device; no images or data are sent off your device. You can revoke the permission at any time in iOS Settings.
Optional iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud sync, your data is backed up to your personal iCloud account and synchronized across your Apple devices.
- Data in iCloud is managed by Apple's infrastructure and accessible only with your Apple ID.
- The Developer cannot access your data in iCloud.

- You can turn sync off at any time.
In-App Purchases (Tip Jar)
Optional tips through the App's Tip Jar are processed by Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple handles the payment; the Developer never receives your name, payment details, or any other personal information.
Deleting Your Data
- You can delete individual records in the App at any time.
- Deleting the App removes all data stored on your device.
- If you used iCloud sync, you can remove the App's iCloud data in iOS Settings.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. Since the App collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as features are added or laws change. Material changes will be announced on this page.
